    Our Stove Imploded...

    Yep. Yesterday, after the self-cleaning cycle, the stove broked. It had a buzzing sound, and nausiating fumes came out of it. It was so nausiating that my dad got to the point of actually throwing up. Just right now, the stove got replaced. I don't think my mom will be using self-cleaning anymore.

    But this is NOTHING. My last stove, before the stove that broke yesterday, also had a self-cleaning mode, and my mom decided to turn it on. The WHOLE STOVE went up in flames and it took like an hour to fix the issue. Yep, quite a nasty time.

    Right now, I officially declare that using the self-cleaning mode on your stove will cause it to break.

          Exactly. I'm really disappointed. I came to this thread for pics of implosion.

              I came to this thread expecting astounding physical occurrences that would cause the implosion of something so physically sturdy as an oven.

                  I came here hoping for the exact thing. I mean, I've heard of exploding ovens many times before, but imploding would be a first.

                      So many people seem to use explode and implode interchangably.

                      This isn't nearly as bad as the time my living room tv caught on fire. Yes, the actual TV.

                              Far from implosion.
                              But uh, my oven's self cleaning cycle LOCKS the oven, and we have had several mishaps involving pizzas and locking ovens. Oh dear.
