Yep. Yesterday, after the self-cleaning cycle, the stove broked. It had a buzzing sound, and nausiating fumes came out of it. It was so nausiating that my dad got to the point of actually throwing up. Just right now, the stove got replaced. I don't think my mom will be using self-cleaning anymore.
But this is NOTHING. My last stove, before the stove that broke yesterday, also had a self-cleaning mode, and my mom decided to turn it on. The WHOLE STOVE went up in flames and it took like an hour to fix the issue. Yep, quite a nasty time.
Right now, I officially declare that using the self-cleaning mode on your stove will cause it to break.
