    Re: Attachments

    lol its not that complicated. Just press the Print Screen Button, open paint, draw a little boxy thing by clicking the one in the top right of the painting tools. Then just right click and press paste, save as, go to image shack or something. Make it. Take the forum code or w/e, copy paste.

      Nyokou had did you stick that picture into you're signature from Video Chat? I'm still not getting it, why the heck do I need to press the print button, it just brings up a box's thing that says "All Page" and "number of copies to print" and other stuff including the name of the printer for which the
      paper comes out. Do I press ok to print or something, then bring paint up, and "ctrl v"? "ctrl v" is to just paste something right? I'm wondereing how you go the pic into you're signature. Some for one and final time, help me!!!!

                Re: Attachments

                Today I spent three hours trying to fix someone's harddrive configuration in their computer. It turns out that without being affected in any way, shape, or form, they lost the small jumper pin on the hard drive that allocated it as the main drive.

                That's a real tech support problem. This is just ignorance.

                Print screen is a button that merely copies the contents of whatever is on the screen into an image. It does not print it on paper. There is no paper involved at all. However, to save the image, you have to paste it into something. The most common "something" is Microsoft Paint. Hitting "print screen" is just like highlighting text and selecting "copy". If you don't paste it somewhere, nothing happens.

                1) Press "Print Screen". It is usually in the set of three buttons along with Scroll Lock and Pause/Break.
                2) Open Microsoft Paint.
                3) Edit -> Paste.
                4) Save the image.
                5) There you go.

                If you want to resize it, you can do that in paint as well. Since I just know not mentioning this will be a problem, I'll tell you. When you paste something, the canvas (white space) increases to the size of the picture. When you reduce the size, the canvas stays the same. Therefore, if you tried to save it just like that, you'd have a small picture and an enormous amount of white space the size of the original image. To fix that, just move the sliders on the edges of the canvas in to fit the size of the image you've resized.

                        It's the one in the top right of your keyboard. Like, if your hands are on the keyboard, then if you move your hands up a little and to the right, you'll be able to feel some more keys, on the top right of your keyboard. One of those probably says printscreen. Press that button.
