This is a crop of the latest statement I received from Commerce. This is an account I opened up as a result of my main bank (Wachovia) not having a branch in Worcester, where I go to school. I needed a bank that I can use as an ATM dump so that I don't get surcharged. Well, I never ended up using it and the $20 I put in initially have sat dormant.
As you can see, I've been billed for a LOT of things. I'll go down them in order.
First off is a charge for having my debit card replaced. This is a result of them sending me a card with my name spelled wrong initially. I told them I needed a new card, or I would look suspicious. They agreed and sent me a new card (never said anything about a charge for it, and this was about 6 months ago).
The next is a charge for not having enough money in my account to pay for the charge for having my card replaced. **** you, too, bank.
Uncollected funds fee, what does that even mean?
The final three go hand in hand. An incoming wire fee, and a foreign wire fee... Let me just say that I've never wired money in my life, nor had money wired to me. Much less received wired money from a different country. The best part about these two is the fact that I have a dormant account fee. If my account is dormant, how the **** am I getting wired money?
ARGH I'm so pissed off. If this isn't a reason to not use Commerce, I don't know what is.
