Hey! I'm a first time forum poster, so try and keep your fly comments to yourself,
I'm wondering, whats with all these people who just wine and complain about other people, like everyone is the problem, I don't get it, they can never point out the obvious that everyone is fine and that they are the problems. Oh there I go again ranting lol.

anyways Does anyone know what makes the most perfect site ever
(like ffr ;p)
I'm trying to come up with genuine Ideas but a came up with nothing at all
I was thinking that it should be some form af a poem or story site...the site is not all that good but at least its something to do in my spare time

anyways It's not 100% my site, theres 4 other people who have more power over the site than me, and then theres a load of other people that help out too... so anyways personal opinions would be great...

Maybe you should let that site be a poetry site...and add some wolves into it whilst you're at it XD I love wolves (especiall the white ones..hence my name)

Site development is always difficult (with or without wolves). Keep in mind, this site has been around for years, and working towards being around for more years to come.

What does this one have? Slick content and a dedicated group of folks that have all been working tirelessly for years to keep it moving and cohesive. Synthlight has done AMAZING things and the FFR gang has done AMAZING things to keep him moving forward.

Building something even close to this takes a LOT of dedication and late nights and lack of sleep.

Wolves or not .. but if you want to develop a niche for yourself, be prepared to work, then work some more, get up early and work still more. It has its rewards, but you gotta love it, as thats the main payback past and above anything else.

Oh and welcome to FFR. I know its not an intro necessarily .. as those are for the newbie forum, but have fun in any case

i think FFR is an amazing site now.. but i think that there should be lots and lots of songs. lmao. i know it's hard work.. but yeah. oh! you know what'd be cool? you know all those 'very easy' songs and stuff. they should make some v2's for that. and have different ways of organizing the songs. (by difficulty & genre & by a search engine - so you don't have to ask people in multiplayer 'where's that?' and stuff) that would make playing on FFR easier.. but i mean, everyone is intitled to opinions. =]

There's no such thing as a perfect website. But instead of trying to please everyone, try addressing the needs of a specific group. For example, FFR caters to nerds, internet geeks and DDR freaks.

The thing that has kept me at FFR agianst my will is the continuing devolpment of the game and site. Many things I have wanted and suggested have been added to the game, there are now 2 songs of the week, so many more random songs added by tass bcoz he feels like it.

All of this is good but you need something to make ppl stay around in the first place, like an addicting arrow game, or overused wolve jokes

From your description, It seems the main focus is on writing, and you have shared control over the site with 4 other people, am I right so far? I'd say try to work with the other people who help run the site and guide it towards a certain theme. For example, there is a site I am a member of that is strictly about writing. Massive community, great and helpful forums, and LOTS of stories written by its members. FFR targets people who like rythm games (or games in general at this point), even though the forums might not directly reflect this. Its all about focus and planning. Work out a detailed design of what you want the site to be like prior to creating it, rather than just jumping in and doing stuff, it helps make it turn out a lot better.
