I'll probably install it once all the bugs are worked out. I still haven't received my upgrade copy from Dell =/

Oh, and the piracy thing seems to have nothing to do with third-party software, only Vista itself. I don't know how anybody could prove or disprove if third-party software is pirated. If I'm wrong, provide proof. 90% of people have some form of pirated software on their computer. Really, did anybody here pay for Photoshop?

Also, I doubt I'll upgrade to Vista. I wasn't able to find a torrent for the 64-bit version, and I don't wanna use the 32-bit version since I have a 64-bit processor.

I won't buy Vista exept if it comes with a new computer.
A 3D desktop/windows, and transparent windows doesn't worth $300.

We had a discussion about that with my friend today. We were 4 guy, and only 1 will buy Vista... but he'll buy only only because it's made by Microsoft, not because it's good.

Instead of breaking copyright laws, I just got The GIMP, which is freeware.

I haven't had any problems with it yet. And it's not bloatware like photoshop!

I even paid for a copy of Flash MX a few years ago. But it was cheap because I had a student discount.

Seriously, for some reason, when it comes to certain software, I change my thinking processes into legal bounds.

PC World did a benchmark test. 64-bit Vista is significantly slower than the 32-bit version. And 32-bit Vista is enough of a step down from XP anyway.

On topic:
I think vista looks alright. The only thing I have to say is it doesn't seem much of an upgrade from XP. Sure, it looks pretty sweet, but I'm sticking with XP until my dad buys Vista and forces my crappy little dell to take it. Or he'll buy a new computer. Oh well.

I recently got my laptop.
My desktop still has 2000 on it, and I'm not looking to upgrade to it, I still kinda like 2000, just not the looks of it. XP is better for the looks, but pretty much the same for the performance. I'll stick with XP, my laptop only has 512 mb of ram anways, I'll upgrade to 2 gbs later though, like after I get a job. >.<
