I believe that MOLLYLOVE may have said that her friend hasn't done weed much, but any drug can become addictive if someone does it enough times.

I see. Even so, it still isn't good for the body or mind (obviously) so again, make sure she gets help, although this will be a lot harder if her parents don't yet know about it.

...No, weed ISN'T addictive. It's just the fact that idiots think they're above others when they smoke it. They can stop at anytime.

You'd best off getting a new 'bff' as in if she didn't tell you she smoked marijuana, theres obviously a better 'bff' that will tell you secrets. Plus, it's hard to be friends with someone you don't see to often, let alone be 'bffs'

Talk it out with your parents. You're going to deal with people who smoke pot in your life at some time or another. Although it's kinda strange you didn't know she smoked, the fact she does (albeit not necessarily habitually) doesn't make her any less of a person.
