Our dog split a lipoma that was on an atery. She is bleeding badly and we are taking her to a vet as soon as we can.

She is just like a member of our family she sleeps with us, she lives with us. She is the smartest dog I have seen in my life. She is sweet and 11 years old. The closest vet is 35 min though and my parents are driving. I hope she lives.

They just left for the vet, there are drops of blood out the door so I need to do some cleaning. Be back soon.

Ok the Hydrogen Peroxide did the trick. I am happy I have someone to talk to. I couldn't handle this if I had nothing to do. I would wonder too much and probably end up passing out.

We don't know. She must have caught it on something. My mom patted her and came up with blood. It is on the dog's chest, but when we went to move her she either opened it further or it just happened because the blood spot was real small.

The vet is keeping her over night. (parents came back) That means she at least is doing alright.


They have to do surgery to take out the lipoma on her chest. It ruptured.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your dog centright. Keep us updated. My mom had to put to rest our scottie last year unfortunately I think he was almost 15 or 16 and had problems. So.. you dog isn't that old yet I wouldnt worry about her, she will make it through this.
