Well, yeah, but you can't generalize ALL "death metal" as being untalented. Sure alot of garage bands are like that, as the thread creator's band most likely is, but there are death metal bands out there like Children of Bodom with a inhumanly amount of talent. Basically, don't make generalizations

Good Death Metal is pretty amazing... it's easy to see why someone wouldn't like it, but it's certainly takes talent.

Of course it's kids like this who give it a bad name.

because you know, screaming has so much musical sound and feeling into it. I mean sure a little kid could do it just fine, but to do it perfectly you need l33t skills.

Well, come on. Think about it.

There is an art to it. It's not simply screaming, it takes technique. Amateurs who simply scream into the mic for extended periods of time can lose there voices for months at a time.

It looks easy to somebody who's watching, but it DOES take talent. I don't care if you don't like it, I'm just saying I don't think you're right to say a four year old can do it as well a professional.
