Macros in Excel

Can anyone help me design a macro that runs through an entire spreadsheet, and anywhere that it sees a blank space, fills it with the string "total"

Any help would be appreciated

Oh, God, and I wrote an entire program in VBA this past summer...

It's really not hard, but if I recall exactly how to do it, then yeah, but for what it's worth, there are really good guides on the internet if you search for them.
