I'm not sure if it would be appropirate or not to be happy...
Was anything really accomplished by this? I mean, the damage has been done. I think it symbolic on many levels to the majority of people, and that's where the power in this act lies.

...wow. Just wow. I was surprised that the execution went through. I'm expecting bombings from Saddam's followers now. Also, this makes me think if the U.S., a.k.a BUSH, will withdraw troops from Iraq, not that it has to do with anything relevant to this subject. But I WILL say one thing about Saddam's death; he was a person. Who abused his power. Then he let the U.S., a.k.a BUSH, get to him, and now he's pretty much dead.

This is my thoughts on the situation. Why kill the guy? For political gain apparently. It seems more important than anything else.

Yeah, I somewhat felt that too. Like I said before; I am expecting life-threatening situations from Saddam's followers now. And also, why did George Bush have to be so stubborn? Well, I guess he got his way, like a childish 3-year old would. I also expect George Bush to have "RE-ELECT ME! I GOT MY WAY AND KILLED SADDAM!" as his "motive" of sorts for the re-election...
