Christmas: as said before, an entire season, whose music, and products can and WILL be seen before thanksgiving
Thanksgiving: America's little euphemism about how we came into Native American's land, made peace at first, then got bored and decided to kill all the Indians and steal their land.
Valentine's Day: Do i really need to explain this one lol... A nonexistant celebration of a (most likely) non existant saint person. COMMERCIALIZED
My Birthday: (now a national holiday) awesome
Easter: commercialized, but not as badly as others... finding eggs as a kid was awesome...
St. Patricks day: more widely known as wear green or get pinched day... stupid holiday unless you're Irish, i guess...
July 4th: Fireworks Yeah!!! and you get to play with a bunch of small firecrackers and other explosives--good chance you won't hear anything at all about the meaning of this holiday around this time...
