    Problem with FFR Radio...

I have been trying and trying to broadcast a radio channel on FFR. I downloaded and installed all necessary software, set the settings just like it said on the radio page, and checked them 10 times to make sure.

When I connect, it connects just fine, but as soon as i start playing a song on winamp to broadcast, it disconnects.. why is this?

    Someone PLEASE help me...

Someone might be already broadcasting on that specific channel, try a different station number.

    For example:

To switch channels, change the encoder password to Commodore0/1/2/3/4/. Just make sure that encoder number is the same as the mount point number. (/music0/1/2/3/4)

Just so you know, /music0 is station 1, /music1 is station 2 etc...
Did you download the .mp3 encoder?

Or maybe you have port 8000 locked out or something. Do you have a firewall? Check and see if your config looks like this.

Ok, I DO.. have a firewall.. but I have it turned off. How would I know if i had 8000 locked out? and if so, how do I unlock it?

This is really getting annoying lol.. and now i HAVE to figure it out.

I'm not sure about all that opening ports jazz. I think it might apply if you have a router or something.
