    Ok so i was talking to this british guy on xbox live and i was trying to talk to him but he had such a strong accent that i could barely understand him. He referred to english and american as two different languages and said that american was a dirty language because we talk with our noses and mouths and not with our tounges......

    Does anyone understand what this means and want to explain it to me? haha
    I don't see a difference, They are the same language but with accents and some different words eh

          Same language. One isn't prettier than the other. There are structural differences, though, only one of which I prefer the British version to the American. All the rest I can't fathom why the American way isn't standard...

              Not everyone from the United States speaks with a Southern accent. Besides, British-English is the second most audibly assaulting language succeeded only by German and a language used by a primal South American tribe that communicates only by yelling.
