Virtual DJ? You can buy it as software from whatever company sells it or you can download a trial.

You may need to download a different version or a 'skin'.

Then go to your nearest music store and buy some, it really isn't that difficult.

If your budget is low and dry, go for a couple of basic belt drive turntables to get you started. Once you can get some cash, start investing in direct drive ones.

Going to go ahead and explain that to you, since you're new to all this:

Belt Drive- Imagine the way a bike works. This is basically how a belt drive works. A small engine is hooked up to the platter with a rubber band that turns it.
Good things: Cheaper then most turntables.
Bad things: It can take a while for it to get started from a cold start, or when you have to hold the beat. Also, the rubber band has a tendency to break.
              ------------------------
Direct drive- Imagine that the engine is hooked up to the bike wheel itself, having direct control over it rather then a simple rubber band.
Good things: Nice control over track. Responsive controls.
Bad Things: Expensive as hell. Heats up rather easily. Sucks electricity like a b**ch. I've had about two power strips fry because they were running so long.

I'm not going to even get into brands of turntables....

              Hope that helps.
