Any of you use it? My Java teacher is trying to cram it down our throats.

It's nothing important or useful to most people.

Most compiler programs have a mode to automatically generate a UML.

Personally, I hated it.

I'll have to find a IDE with that then. My teacher is assigning homework of programs in UML and doesn't actually care about source code.

Why?

Because I'm not learning any Java in my Java class. Why? Because the instructor is forcing UML on us at the expense of the ability to code. He expects us to know how to diagram this ****, but he doesn't expect us to be able to code it.
