    Re: An interesting bet

You apparently haven't read this thread, just saw it was by me, and made an assumption.

This is not about a problem, I'm merely seeing what the posters think about who will win this bet.

So, in a few words : gtfo >.>

Dude, just tell her how you feel.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

      My new novel:

      Maledictions: The Offering.

      Now in Paperback!

          Meh, I give up

If y'all think Im having some sort of problem, I can't change that, because people here tend to be hardheaded. It apparently doesn't matter what the truth is.

Im calling the bet off tonight. I realized that with all the free time Im gonna have with just Thanksgiving coming up (back to back 4/5 day weekends I believe), reading will only get me so far.

At least the element of trust is still there, I guess that's the only good >.>

If trust was there to begin with, the bet wouldn't have been suggested. The whole concept of a bet makes the participants aware that there is a controlled environment for them to parttake in. You could have just asked her to stop, and if she said she would, then trust her. The bet as a whole shows there's lack of trust.
            gg.

I don't see how the bet shows a lack of trust.

There really weren't any consequences/rewards set yet, those were still being decided on. We wanted to prove to each other (I suppose) that we could go for a determined length of time without one thing we each liked.

I could do it, and she could to, no doubt. But at this time of year, there's just too much of a sacrifice, I think.

Then again, why do I argue my point. Anyone on here is too hardheaded to comprehend the ideas of the person defending themself.

              Edit: I win!
Krispy Cream's chocolate covered donut ftl haha.
Got a text from her as I woke up saying that she gave in to the temptation. lol ^^
