Space Elevator Games Underway
"With $400,000 in NASA-provided prize money at stake, 16 teams have gathered this week in Las Cruces, New Mexico, for the second annual Space Elevator Games as part of the X Prize Cup -- including Lutat's group from near Düsseldorf, as well as a team from Spain and three different crews from Canada. TurboCrawler, Lutat's team, was the second entry to qualify for the competition scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, behind the Kansas City Space Pirates."
