    Free Hugs

    I'm sure quite a few of you have heard about this campaign going on and I was wondering what you thought of it.

    If you haven't heard about it, it's about a man named Juan Mann who basically holds up a sign asking for free hugs to brighten up their lives.

    Personally I think it's an awesome idea because I love hugs already. I also have to wonder how many others would have the guts to walk around asking for hugs, because it's so out of the norm.

      I don't know about other people but I don't require physical contact to boost my self-esteem. Save that for the emos.

                  I'd do that if I wanted to. People come to expect those type of things from me.

                  Good campaign though, it probably does brighten some peoples' days.

                      A friend of mine started a "hug-chain" in fourth block last week. He would hug one person, and tell them to go hug two people and for each of them to hug two people and so on. This being drama, where everyone is touchy-feel-y anyway, the hugs had circled the whole class and were waiting to continue spreading when the bell rang five minutes later.
                      He wants to be the first communist dictator of America... I suppose getting everyone to follow such a simple command is a good start, right?
