I don't have an antivirus because every single one sucks and ruins computers, so I went to the place where everyone said they were having problems and I have no problems.

I wish I knew why people had issues with viruses.

The exploit in itself was the CERT posted earlier, the entire exploit reading "Microsoft WebViewFolderIcon ActiveX Control Buffer Overflow Vulnerability" -- all I can think of off the top of my head is that some people may have an ActiveX compatability plugin installed which is being hit by this.

Anywho, as far as I can tell, all traces of the exploit have been removed (hopefully). If anyone spots anything still weird, hit it up in this thread so we'll all see it.

I was thinking "hey, why haven't I noticed this yet?" which turned into "Oh my god, I didn't even have a virus scanner on this thing!" and then I remembered "oh, hey, I'm on a mac. Haha..." But I still kind of feel really vulnerable without a virus scanner.
