Finally, at long last, the hallowed SNOWBOARDING SEASON has arrived! I'm going boarding with my friends this weekend. Who's gonna join me? Or rather...who's gonna go with their friends?

Snowboarding sounds alright..I should be good at it cause I am good at skateboarding. So I don't know..Depends on money and transportation availability...I'd love to go though.

Well, I live in the desert and the last time it snowed here was 25 years ago. But we do have a lot of sand, and I used to sand-board. Only problem is you need to shower a lot.

Ya man, snowboard season's back. And it's been hella cold here for how early it is. The mountains are already covered. Never been but I think I might be goin skiing with my bro sometime in January once he gets back from Ottowa.

I can ski, and i'm pretty good at it.
I've tried snowboarding and I was horrible and really hurt myself,
I stopped trying after that and went back to skiing

Rob, that's cause (and no, this isn't a diss to you) skiing is frigging easy to start up. It takes very little talent to get on skis for the first time and ski down a hill. Hell, I managed to my first time. That's why you see little 6-year old girls zigzagging in front of you reallllly slowly down the mountain while you try to bomb it.

Oh man, sand boarding is awesome. But the sand has to be really packed down, so basically it's as if you are sliding down a really steep concrete wall (actually, half of it was concrete). So, when you fell...YOU FELL...and rolled and got all sandy and cut up and bruised...but, for some strange reason, that didnt stop us. And we just used skateboard decks.

I can't wait to go up to my relatives winter chalé up north and go skiing there. The chalé is so nice and it's like the only chance I get to ski. I just can't wait... Hurry up snow!

Pfft...You can't ski or snowboard in Texas. But this huge cold front came like yesterday so it's like 40 degrees outside.

I live in Minnesota...man, we havn't gotten a good winter in years. You know how long its been since we had a snow day? What happened to the 4-foot snowfalls in October that lasted till May that got us our namesake 'Minnesnowta'? Pshh. Total BS.
