You know, Mercury's day is much longer than its year. It's really not that spectacular of a phenomenon.

So supposively it's only .05 AU from the star it orbits o_0 And in order for a planet that large to orbit a star in 4.5 days, it must have an extremely low density.

Makes no difference. It must, however, have an extremely large velocity.
