i play FFr and SM on my laptop and the keys basically suck, so im thinking of investing in a real keyboard. Are there any keyboards that are actually better when playing FFR or are they all the same and i should just get a normal one?

I find the logitech I currently have sucks hardcore. Doesn't detect well.
The stock dell keyboard I have plays better than logitech.
If available, get an omnitech, the ones contracted out to schools. I play at school and the responce and feel is just better somehow.Comment

1st thing you should be worried is your pc, in a lot of cases it's your PC that is the cause and not the kb.Comment

never get a HP wireless keyboard. i have one and u need batteries for it, of course, but my keyboard stopped working completely, even new batteries won't work. i haven't played ffr in about 2 weeks and i typed this using the "on-screen" keyboard. don't end up like me. but i would recommend the logitech keyboard.

HP keyboards don't support more than two keys at one time. Mashing is impossible.

The keyboard embedded in my laptop can do 3 sometimes. Only if I hit the first 2 arrows and then very quickly add the third. At the same time makes it go, "BOOP".Comment

I play on a laptop now and its definately not bad at all but i just notice i do a lot better when i play in school on the keyboards. They are just 400 times more comfortable and i can go much quickerComment

Dell QuietKey keyboard is awesome for Stepmania and FFR. They're quite old, and it's name is quite ridiculous since it's not soft at all, but it has great response and it registers more than enough keys at the same time. Better yet, you can get one incredibly cheaply, for example mine ended up costing me 4 bucks haha.
Go with a Dell QuietKey.
