so many people advertising their threads with bold font...you'd think they're trying to get their message across. i feel like my eyes are freaking out.

The only reason topic titles are bolded, to my knowledge, is because there have been new posts in those threads since the last time you logged in.

Yeah, i think it's unvisited new topics are bolded, in order to show that something's going on in there. Whereas unbolded topics mean that's there's nothing new there.
