    Does Tequila really make you hallucinate?

    My friend told me it does but I find that hard to believe. Does anybody know if it really does or not?

          Uh no.

          It's just alcohol. It's not even that high of a proof.

          But then again, anything consumed in massive quantities will mess you up for a while.

              Tequila is a great drink, but as previously stated, no it will not give you hallucinations.

                                          Depressants do not cause hallucinations.

                                          Hallucinogens do.

                                                  What the hell? Acid? No, they're just plain sugar cubes put in there to make it taste better.

                                                  And absinthe's reputation as a hallucinogen is extremely suspect, considering the negligible quantities of the hallucinogenic chemical that's in it.

                                                      yeah you REALLY need to drink a lot to get enough of the active hallucinogen in absinthe to actually see any hallucinations. It just gets you really drunk, same with any other high proof alcohol. And i don't know wtf you're talking about with acid cubes.. as guido said, you put a sugar cube on a spoon and pour the absinthe over it for taste.
