    Re: HUGE storm

    He isn't mine, no..

At the particular stable I go to, board is like PREMIUM. The area average is about 150 - 200 a month, here it's 500 alone for stable board, so owning a horse = impossible..

He's a good old quarter horse, though a lesson horse, originally he was bought to teach beginners, because they THOUGHT he was passive. I mean, he's about 16 - 18 now and he's had a rough life, but he acts up terribly when kids ride him! He has a lot of hidden potential, but we can't jump that high, usually 2 '6, 2 '9.

Still, Earl tackles every jump with so much heart that we kill in the hunter/jumper ring. He spooks at nothing, owes up for your mistakes and has tight knees. He's a very good horse, and he still acts like a two-year-old stud :P which I love.

    Merci, Adam

            I officially hate bloodaxe.

It stormed here just now. It's pretty crazy. Not as bad as what you describe though. But I do live near a huge field so lightning is abundant.

Yeah board here is $550 a month. My old barn was $575, but the new barn is nicer. I don't own yet...grades are bad.

I used to jump (only went to one hunter show though because the horse I leased went to a camp I went to during the summer so it was kinda hard), but my new barn is mostly dressage so the horses there don't do too much jumping. I recently found a horse close to me who's 5 years old and jumps 2'3"-2'9" with a lot of potential to go higher, and he's started cross country and such and is good at it, which is good because i'm planning on eventing. Bad thing is he's 10,000 dollars...which is a lot, and I don't have good grades, so theres not a big chance i'll get him.

ps I asked about the jumps because I thought I saw crossrails as the jumps in the background, but maybe there's a pole above them that I can't see because it's far away :\

Indeed. Why is it that it seems everyone has friends on these forums but mine come to it and leave. Hmm. I think that's saying something. THEY'RE GAY!

Man, that storm was awesome! It rolled in almost instantly and broke a tree in my front yard.

Me and my dad went driving around to try and find out where all the firetrucks were going. Turns out a marina was hit and it was all on fire. Cool stuff.

There was one flash of lightning I will never forget. It lit up the ENTIRE left side of the car. It was a ridiculous streak of bolts going sideways.
