It was actually Arch0wl who recommended me for the mod position, a fact which I can look back on and rofl at. He liked my harsh, unforgiving stance on postwhoring (which was really popular back in 2004. Far too many people were doing it.)
I got started as a DJ for FFR Radio. Eventually I got modded for, as has been repeated, good behavior and community loyalty. I got moved to admin status when I needed to make main page updates about radio shows.
Synth liked my writing style, so eventually I started contacting artists for permission to use songs in FFR. And then I developed the interface for 3rd Style and started campaigning hard for its development. (And, well, here we are.) So that's my current function as an admin.
The reason my name has only shown "admin" since the meetup was because after the boards got switched over to VB, LD accidentally forgot to make me an admin instead of a mod. So I asked him to change me while we were on our laptops in the hotel.
