Oh, I needed this information too. For the HoMM5 soundtrack, which I wanted to put onto an MP3 player but it was in OGG format.

But then I used Google. Search for "mpeg to mp3". Use Google next time before you ask silly questions.

I was also wondering, does anyone know how to convert Movies or Music Videos you download to an Ipod?

Umm, .mpegs are movies aren't they? You can't convert a movie into a music file, at least not that i know of but then again what do I know..

Y'know, this is really complicated because you're not giving us enough information.

Technically, mpegs are mp3s. Yes, I know this sounds weird. This is because mp3s are actually mpeg 1 layer-III files. The most widely used mpeg format for videos is mpeg 2s, I believe.

I'm getting away from the point, though. Are you trying to extract audio from a video? There are splitter programs like VirtualDubMod that can do that can decompress and extract the audio in mp3 format. Or, if you want be feel all cool and archaic, you can use a sound recorder and just record the sound from the sound card, and export it as an mp3. Audacity works well for that. I might be confusing you, though. Send me a PM or something and I'll figure it out for you.
