Not only did Chardish break the toilet but I had to reach into the toilet to fix it. Unfortunately I had made the problem worse by removing the tank hose and when we tried a second flush it "attacked" Chardish and I like a garden hose gone crazy. We screamed like little girls and ran out of the bathroom in horror.
I believe your words were "This isn't important." Then you tossed the hose aside.
The funniest part about it was that the wild, undirected spray that hit both of us didn't all get in the tank. And the little chain that operates the flush lever plugged the drain. I'm no plumber, but essentially what this meant was that the water would constantly drain from the tank, which triggered the hose to try to flush again.
End result: this toilet would shoot water randomly around the bathroom about once every thirty seconds. It was like a sprinkler on a timer.
