I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
AHAHAHAHA. I know why he picked South Park. Take a look at his score. E-penis getting a little too big there, Tass?
Yeah, guessed on all except two, and got three right. I know everybody hates Jar Jar Binks, and I know who Kenny is. That's about it.

South Park is an American cartoon.... Anime is the entire genre for Japanese cartoons. *shrugs*.
dunlop... no worries. I'll make sure there are plenty of sports stuff, mostly because that is something I greatly enjoy as well. But so as to not alienate most of the forum from participating, I won't do it TOO often.
I think I'll do general trivia every other day, and then specific stuff on the other days. That seems fair enough.
I would think show-specific trivia would be harder, simnply by virtue of if you've never seen the show you're screwed.
At least with a broad category of shows you might have seen some and thus be able to get some right.

You guys don't like the categories, go off and make your own circle-jerk trivia sessions while you obsess over Evangelion and other bizarre shows that over half the population playing the game haven't ever heard of.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
See Mal... I was thinking this... but at the same time, I don't want to alienate people.
I'll do my best to make things well rounded.
EDIT: Yesterday, with 51 people, we were the 18th most played group. The site where I found about this was #1 with 122... We're currently at 33 for today.

Well excuse me for expecting a trivia proclaimed to be "for all of us" to have an objective category selection process.
I'll complain if I want to, so shut the hell up. You're not impressing anyone.

Are you kidding? Are you actually being serious? It's one topic that half the people on here know NOTHING about, and you complain that the one cartoon (Popular, American, references everything and is heavily quoted) that is used is unfair? I got half the questions due to the context WITHIN them. It's not incredibly hard, considering I've seen maybe three episodes.
Honestly, get off your soap-box. You're not a victim here, you just like complaining.

I am complaining that one topic that half the users here know nothing about is not used but another topic that half the users here know nothing about is used just because the game host likes the second topic but not the first.
I wouldn't care if anime didn't get used, but the fact that he went out of his way to say he wasn't going to use it on the same day that he picked something equally esoteric is what annoyed me.

Tomorrow will be back to General stuff, then the day after will be something specific again (not sure what).
But, you do have to expect that... at least early on... I'm going to pick stuff that interest me. I'm not going to pick US State Insects or even Soccer, because they don't really interest me. But as time goes on, I'll try to hit as many topics as possible.
