Hey, I took this deck to the regionals and it did OK, but I was wondering if you guys could help me to improve it. It's a basic GUW contol deck and I would actually like to keep it control focused. Oh and keep it type 2, that means no cards from anything before Kamigawa.

Random anecdote alert:

One time at a summer math camp I went to (no joke), I walked into one of the lecture rooms and saw three or four people playing Magic. I thought "ok, that's stupid", but at the time I was being chased by a couple of other people so I just hung around and watched them. Eventually I figured out how to play from watching a couple of games so I asked if I could play using one of their decks, and they were like "yeah w/e we'll kick your ass". I picked a deck based around card that I think was called "Mirare's Wake" or something like that...basically it gives you 2 land for every 1 that you tap. So I got 2 of them out and pretty much annihilated the other guy and he was like "wtf?!" and they kicked me out of the room.

Moral of the story: Always use Mirare's Wake (or something like that) cause it pwns
Submoral of the story: omfg blastoise >> charizard
Subsubmoral of the story: yes there really is such a thing as math camp, shut up.

Brushland isn't a dual land, is it? I know there's Scrubland, but there's enough colors for it to possibly exist.

This also ignores the fact that getting four would cost you round $100...

The skill in Magic is in building decks.

Playing doesn't really take all that much skill, except in rare cases.
