They did cite their resources... they mentioned where all of the quotes and passages came from... as well as even some personal accounts of willing people.

Yeah, the melting point of the steel that was likely used was probably around three to four thousand degrees Fahrenheit (as they quoted from a source), but it'd be folly to think that the building couldn't have collapsed just because kerosene burns at two thousand Fahrenheit.

Steel melts down at several thousand degrees; it weakens a great deal sooner. With the structural integrity of the steel compromised at a lower temperature, the supports were weakend, which helped a collapse.
