i just got 5 stitches in my hand and i was amazed on how much it didnt hurt...
but the inside of your hand is disgusting..

I had stitches a long time ago. I was in the kiddy pool and my friend pushed me and I hit my head, right behind my left ear, on the edge of the pool. The water turned red, it was a pretty bad sight. I think it ended up being 12 stitches or so. When the doctors were actually stitching me up it didn't hurt, but when they put in the medicine to numb it, the side of my head hurt so much.

I had stitches on my pinkey in 2nd grade after a metal door shut on it.

Oh wait, the shots before the stitches hurt like hell and it was only on a pinkey.

Oh boy... when they took out the 8 stitches... daaaaamnnnn it hurts.

I had stitches once. A long time ago. I busted open my knee open on a broken satalite dish that was in someones yard when playing Capture The Flag. Saw my bone, Blood rushing all over the place, wasnt pretty. I remember it hurt like **** when operating because I had a n00bie doctor and he sucked. And then it didnt hurt. But when getting em out, damn man, you don't see it coming. :P

Nowadays they have stitches that don't have to be pulled out... they just disintegrate by themselves. For every operation I've had that involved stitchs, that's what I got.
