    research paper

well, looks like i'm indebted to this site again.

i'm writing my senior research paper and i've chosen the benefits of video games and how violent games don't cause violent behavior. guess what made up my mind. go on. guess. that's right, FFR did it. since i started playing, my hand-eye coordination has sky-rocketed. i went from failing level 2 songs to acing level 7's.

i want to write a revolutionary paper, so i'd like to hear some of your opinions concerning these topics. any points you think i should make, or any evidence you have to defend those points would be greatly appreciated. till then, i guess i'm just stuck playing the crystalis theme.

Well mention that this game is 100% free all the time,it's basically for all ages. It's great workout for your hands,it improves your eye speed (i.e: might be able to read faster and understand better) uhh and it's a EXTREMELY NON VIOLENT ADDICTIVE GAME. Good place to cool down if your having problems ,you could chat to people and discuss life,or anything in general.

Overall I love FFR the community is great the game is fun.

    There you go man.

Have your reflexes ACTAULLY gotten better?

      Probably not.

You are now more proficient at reading and pressing arrows, because you have spent time on it. Your reflexes probably have BARELY improved, if at all.

For example, playing tetris (THIS WAS A STUDY DONE BY SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN--GOOD SOURCE) repetatively had absolutely NO AFFECT on your actual reflexes, although the subjects certainly got better at the game.

However...intense games like MOHAA (THAT WAS THE STUDY'S OTHER GAME) actually does improve your reflexes.

Seeing how similar FFR is to Tetris....you aren't getting any more reflex....uh...ful. FFR trigers different brain mechanisms than MOHAA, and mostly the same as teris.

Maby I would stay away from this subject, hmm?

      Good luck on the paper.

      Signature subject to change.

      THE ZERRRRRG.

Well, violent video games are good, in my opinion. I know that if I'm overly angry, I can just play a round of mortal combat or halo or something, and when I'm done, I feel a lot better.

wow, I did a paper on Violent Video Games back in 10th grade. I personally love the violent games. It helps me get rid of stress. But (damnit its raining outside) I had to state both sides of the argument about games affecting children in violent ways. If you need some help with your paper, i could look to see if i still have the paper I did.
