Tonight I went up to the arcades like I usually do on Friday nights. Play DDR, talk to the thousands of people that flood the place, and watch the police kick kids out. Tonight was different, I got someone fired XD
I went with some friends up to the arcades (Lunar Bowl), to play DDR. After about an hour of playing one of my friends said that he was hungry, so we decided to go get some pizza from a place right in front of Lunar Bowl. Pizza Street. I knew you had to buy SOMETHING to get into the place, so I was planning on buying water or something cheap.
We walk in the store and when we reach the counter, an employee (Some big ass senior or something) says that I had to throw away my drink that I had bought at Lunar Bowl. "No outside food or drink allowed." I said ok, but didn't hand him the drink just yet. I said I wanted a drink, so I could stay in the place and talk with my friends. The guy said that I had to buy a buffet meal which was $3.49 or some high price for crappy food. I said no and was about to leave until he said that I had to give him the drink I was holding. Here's our argument.
Me: I'm not giving you the drink, I'm leaving.
Guy: You have to give me the drink, there are no outside drinks allowed in here.
Me: Why would it matter if I'm about to leave?
Guy: It's a rule.
Me: I'm not giving you the drink.
Guy: You WILL give me the drink or you will get banned from this place and Lunar Bowl, because I'm sure you came from there. Every teenager around this place came from Lunar Bowl.
Me: You can't ban me from here for such a stupid thing, and you CERTAINLY cannot ban me from Lunar Bowl if you don't work for them.
Guy: I can get you banned from anywhere, stop being a baby and give me the drink.
Me: For the last time, no. If you want the drink, you're going to have to come over that counter and take it from me. And if you do that, I'll have you arrested for stealing someone elses property.
The guy actually started to come over the counter, he had his left foot on the counter when the manager steps in. I had seen the guy watching the whole time too.
Manager: What the hell are you doing?
Guy: This guy won't give me his drink, you know we don't allow any outside drinks.
Manager: The guy is being nice and leaving, and you harass him like this? Get out, you're fired.
Me and my friends just started cracking up right in front of him then left. This guy getting fired in front of 20 other people. I owned the fuck out of that guy.
