11:18 PM, Saturday, January 7th. The body of an 18 year old male is discovered dead center in Synthlight Square. His still-warm body lifelessly slumped against the cold marble statue meant that this act had not happened more than ten minutes ago. I called for immediate lock down of the area; if we were lucky, we could still find whoever did this without much mess. The streets and buildings were searched--strip searched. Not so much as a fingerprint in any direction. This guy did homework.
11:32 PM, I sat down with a few people who had seen him hours before the murder. They both said the last thing he said was he felt he was being watched. Watched, huh? We'll see about that. When "eb," as he was called, had said this, he was at Moogy's Mall, which had surveillance equipment almost everywhere. I walked quickly down the streets to the back entrance of the mall, ran up the stairs to the video room, and started looking for tapes.
11:49 PM, I found the tape. I watched it over and over, trying to see what eb had seen at that moment. After watching those few seconds almost 40 times, to sat back and rubbed my eyes. I decided to take it frame by frame. Carefully studying one frame after another, I saw nothing out of the ordinary, no matter how hard I tried. Then, just as I was beginning to lose hope, I saw it. A tracker, and not just any tracker either...a BBCode tracker. We learned about these in training, but there was hardly anyone that still used them. They were too easy to trace if found. In one frame, a bold and italic tag flashed on the sleeve of his shirt.

Of course whoever was tracking him would have to have one implanted on himself as well. The case might as well already be solved, all I have to do is find someone else with the same tags on their person, and put them in cuffs!
I'll report my findings to my partner, Detecitve Jewpin, immediately.

You heard the PI folks! Look for extra BBCode in people's posts and find out who killed eb! If we can get his murderer, maybe we can avenge his death by making a sacrifice and bring him back to life!
Considering the tracker was on eb in the Garbage Bin, it's safe to assume the range wouldn't pick up outside of that area. Oh and don't worry about searching for posts before today, the murder happened on January 7th!
