I remember my first semester in college. Then again, it's hard for me not to. You'll understand why if you keep reading.
I was taking 14 credit hours (as a freshman, mind you), and I had a mental breakdown. And I'm not talking your run-of-the-mill kind where you take a Prozac or two, call the doctor in the morning and everything turns out A-OK. This was more of the how-the-hell-did-I-manage-to-live-through-it variety, the kind that leads to suicide if it isn't picked up in time. It was so bad that I eventually got my tuition for that semester reimbursed thanks to the ombudsperson.
As for my present situation, I'm currently working on getting rid of outstanding debts so I can register for classes. I'm thinking maybe something along the lines of computer science, but that's it. Only ONE class at a time for me.

Still in highschool. But I have a question for squeek.. I know you go to a college near me, which one? GMU, JMU, GWU, UVA, VT, CNU, JHU, Nova? My sister goes to Nova XD
School is so Expensive BTW. doesnt help when ur still considered an out of state resident
No kidding. I'm at the point where I've been here for over a year, and although the STATE considered me a resident after two months when I registered my car, my voting, and my bank accounts here, but the school still charges me double what state residents pay. It's entirely possible I will sue to get proven as a state resident, because their guidelines are RETARDED.

15 credit hours in total.
I also spent $213.94 or something like that on books. And I only had to get books for 2 classes. :/

14 credit hours, just the way I like it. And hopefully I will ace Calc3 this time around so the old grade gets nulled and my GPA gets better than 2.025. >__>
Hey, well, at least it's at a later time so you won't just SLEEP through the class every single day...
Why did you fail it again? ;P
You lazy bugger, only taking 14 hours.

Well the place I'm going to go to here in Salem is setup in quarters, so I get to wait till april to go to classes, since I arrived too late here and all the ones I need are full up.
Boy this is going to be boring.

I transferred to Baylor last semester and changed my major to Science Ed. this semester, so I'm taking 17 hours to try to make up for lost credits. If I don't have at least 12 hours in my field of study, I can't do my teaching assistant next year, which means I'd have to wait another year (not just a semester -- Baylor doesn't work that way) to graduate, and I'm already graduating late.
And also, Baylor has some weird system for its lab sciences. You take the three-credit-hour class, and the lab, but you also have to attend a weekly lecture that goes along with the lab, as though the class does not cover the material deeply enough.
A computer science class in Java: Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00-11:30

Intro to Philosophy: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:30-10:30

Algebra: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 1:30-2:30
Computer Science lab on Thursdays 12:30-2:30, starting third week (It's only first week right now)
1-hour tutorials for each calculus and algebra, but god knows when.
k here's the spreadsheet that I made, it's super awesome and colourful. Tuesdays rock, as you can see. Thursdays and Fridays are pretty good too. Mondays upset me.
Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said 'goodbye' and you were like 'NO WAY!' and then I was all, "we pretended we were going to murder you"? That was great.
