We ordered a computer online from OfficeMax, and after a whole week of waiting(the computer was shipped out on the 3rd, but they delivered it to the wrong house, no one was home one day, and who knows what else happened), the delivery guy comes today.
Guess what? He lost the monitor. How? While he was out delivering packages, someone got into his van and stole it. At least it was only the monitor...
Anyways, this is pretty ironic, considering OfficeMax does not allow delivery people to leave packages on the doorstep if no one is home(there have been some complaints about stoleed packages in some towns recently), but being stolen from a delivery van... that's crazy.
At least we don't have to pay for the stolen monitor- that's Fed-Ex's job. However, if we had allowed them to leave that package on our doorstep and it got stolen, they wouldn't have to pay for it.
Hopefully no one else has gotten a package stolen or lost...
