Today is world AIDS day and I thought all of you should know. I'm in a peer class and these are some facts I think I should share with everyone who reads this.
Fact #1 There are currently 40 million people living with HIV worldwide
Fact #2 AIDS claims over 8,000 lives every day
Fact #3 5 people die of AIDS every minute
Fact #4 5 million people will contract AIDS this year
Fact #5 3 million people will die of AIDS this year
I just think that this is very important and that you should know this. It is up to you whether or not you take this into consideration. All I know is that you could read this and go out and have sex without a care in the world and give someone AIDS.^^*
