What's peoples obsession with driving. It is one of the most boring/aggrevating things out there. There's so many idiots out there. Besides who needs a car when you got IIDX lol Happy B-day.

I didn't get my license until a few months ago, and I turned 17 in march. This is only because I failed the test in school, and didn't go to the DMV to take it until well...I felt like it. My friend and I both failed because we were too busy playing Advanced Wars 2 in class. I don't mean every now and then, I mean every single day. We pretty much blew by the course, but by the time the test came, we were like oh wtf. I got one more question wrong than I could afford and failed.

::shrugs:: Oh well, I have it now, so I don't really care. We, unlike the rest of the class, had our priorities in order by becoming expert war strategists instead of learning how much you could drink without getting arrested.

I drove to Cleveland the other day, just to hang out with some friends and go to some kick ass parties. Then I drove back towards St. Louis, stopped in Indianapolis, and partied a night there. Now I'm back in St. Louis, going to go in the city tonight to see some rock shows and go to some clubs.

Congrats on 16. My little sister turns 16 in Feb.

Driving is actually not that exciting. It gets you to Point A to Point B just like anything else, except faster. But racing. That's something to get excited over.

I get my license on the 27th of November (someone remember that for me plzkthx) and im really not that excited, for five reasons:

1.)A hell lot more of drivers out there, mainly in my area, are about 60% 16 Year olds. Literally. The majority of 16 year old drivers are way too immature to be behind a wheel, let alone IN a car. burn.
2.)I won't be getting a car till my next birthday anyway, as my parents say, which is in May. othnap rhyme x 4.
3.)alot of my friends don't have cars or a license, or a permit...which leads me to have a bad feeling that all my friends are going to ask for rides to/from everywhere. for free. -.-. Even my parents may bother me to go somewhere for them. lazy asses.
4.) DPS (where i get my license) isn't even open the day im supposed to get it. i got owned.
5.) Driving is boring and stressful. It sounds fun at first, but it's not. Don't drive. ever.

Man, I love driving so much. If I ever wanted to leave my house in high school I had to drive, since I lived a few miles from anything other than residences (to none of which I ever went) and five miles from school/work/friends. Just getting out and driving for a long time is a great way to spend time with someone, especially if you have country roads to explore.

Plus, not having to rely on your parents to take you anywhere rules.

Driving is overrated, I could have cared less when I got my license. It reminded me a lot of when I turned 18 - nothing special and if anything more trouble for you.
