So, around 9pm on Wednesday night after a hard day at work I decided to run to the corner shop for a bottle of wine and pack of cigarettes so I could enjoy a quiet night at home.
Arrive at the shop (which is like a minute walk for my house) and hear shouting form inside, think nothing of it. Push open the door and Oh My God, 3 guys dressed in black, with a gun. They see me in the door and tell me to move over into the shop, so obviously I do. Then they ask me what phone I had, fortunately I didn't have it on me so told them that, thank god I didn't have it with me or I might have panicked or cried or both as I have no insurance on my phone.
To cut a long story short, a minute later they leave with a hand full of money, and then 15 minutes after that the police arrive. I get asked to explain what happened 3 times and then have to go to the police station to make a statement. Of course I couldn't really tell the police much about the guys as I was busy watching which direction the gun was pointing! How am I supposed to know what brand of trainers they were wearing, sorry man.
Now I’m just slightly worried about walking around the area at night incase the people who did it live or hang around in the area. Paranoid I know, but they had a gun and there are a lot of dark alleyways around where I live.
