Hair Color Preference

So I was playing MS earlier (shut up about it) and we were all talking, and the subject of blondes came up. Tosh was saying that he didn't like Eva's blonde hair and I agreed and suddenly we were all talking about how blonde hair sucks.

So I got to thinking. The media and all that junk tries to tell us what is hot or not, and a lot of people seem to fall into the idea that whatever the media says is popular really is popular, or that just because it's popular means people actually do like it. I mean, back at my high school I saw so many bleached-blonde girls with obviously fake tans from a can walking around like they were hot shit. Personally, I found it disgustingly unnatural-looking and wanting to smack them and say "NO!"

So now I ask you, citizens of the internet. When it comes to hair color of people of the opposite sex (or same, if you're that way), which do you prefer? (Note: If I leave anything out that you want to vote for, don't just vote randomly. Tell me here or in a PM (preferably in a PM, since I always see those) and I will add it if it's reasonable).

Honestly, I love purple hair on girls. There's bound to be a girl that can't pull off purple hair, but I have yet to see them. Purple hair is just freaking hawt. In fact, purple hair is the only reason I can understand all the hentai lovers, because there's ALWAYS a hot purple-haired girl in every anime.

Beyond that, I love darker brown/black hair, which kinda sucks, because people with really dark hair usually can't bleach it out enough to make the purple stay in.

I put blonde hair because i'm narcisstic about my hair and I like it =( I get a lot of compliments on it.

But on guys I like black, brown, dirty blonde, blonde. Basically any natural color besides red.

Actually, no you wouldn't. People tend to have VERY skewed views on themselves, due to personal bias. Either you'll be full of yourself and think you're great, or have low self esteem and think you're always ugly. Other people know how you look way better than you do. It's kinda like when somebody else is doing an impression and they think they're acting just like the person, but nobody else gets it. You don't look right as a blonde person, and brown hair is way better, especially since that's your natural color.

I voted for black/very dark brown. But in reality, most anything is acceptable.

Actually, no you wouldn't. People tend to have VERY skewed views on themselves, due to personal bias. Either you'll be full of yourself and think you're great, or have low self esteem and think you're always ugly. Other people know how you look way better than you do. It's kinda like when somebody else is doing an impression and they think they're acting just like the person, but nobody else gets it. You don't look right as a blonde person, and brown hair is way better, especially since that's your natural color.

Actually as soon as I went back to blonde hair, people started to say to me "You look so much better with blonde hair." I kind of took it offensively but I couldn't help but agree. I was bored of brown and I didn't like it. It didn't go well with my complexion. I do have to admit brown hair=shinier, but I can make my hair shiny anyways. Secret techniques passed down by the ancestors srsly

I've also been blonde since I was a baby, and my hair started to get dark when I got to like 12 years old. Blonde is a better color on me, and I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I never got compliments when I had brown hair.

but anyway, I'll say now what I said then.

I like how my girlfriend's hair is a lot. Dark brown, and she usually has a purple tinge to it. Right now it has the purple tinge and some random lighter brown and looks really cool.

EDIT: As shown at the top of page 216 in the picture thread. But that picture makes it look REALLY RED when it's not really that red in reality.

When i was born.. I was born with black hair and blonde stripes (At least that's what my mom, and her pictures say) but when i reaches age 4 my hair began turning blonde. Once i hit age 7 it began to change to the color brown.

I still have this very light stripe of blonde, but everything else is brown.

I'll go with light brown =D
