    Wow

So, Matt, Vinnie, Matt, Lauren and I decided to go the Met today and look at some art, cause it's free and my money is really tight.

I decide that I want to go to Central Park instead (which is right across the street, no less) and ask if anyone will join me. No one does, they all head to the Met and I enter the park.

I was walking around, generally enjoying myself for about an hour and a half, when I decided it was time to kick out. I was looking for an exit, and I start down an exit path, when someone enters the park.

I thought he was familiar looking. He had memorable eyes and a haircut that's very similar to my own. His jacket collar was up around his face, obscuring his jaw and his scarf was almost pulled up to his nose.

    But the eyes.

    Oh shit.

" Are you..." I pointed and mouthed to this man entering the park as I'm exiting.

He pulled his scarf down, and nodded, before bringing his finger to his lips, a very quick nod and shushing motion. I nodded back. He came here for peace and quiet, not to be hounded. I smiled and left the park.

Cillian Murphy shushed me. Holy crap.

    Cillian Murphy...
    Was in central park??

    Shit! I was there yesterday!

Sweet. That's one of the downsides of being someone so famous, you can't even enjoy a walk in a public park without concealing so much of your features.

the only even close to famous person I've ever seen lives on my street (and my street only has 30 houses).
Not really that famous though... unless you're in 2nd grade.... which I was >_>;;;.
It's the illustrator for Cam Jansen - those books that the cool 2nd graders (and the cool 1st graders) read. I felt cool back then for living on the same street as her... except ..

I have a friend who's super introverted, really smart though. She told me once that when she watches a movie with Cillian in it, she wants to just start making out with the closest person near her in the theater but then she realizes what a disspointment it would be if she did. I laughed so hard when she told me that.

                      PS she'll be really jealous.

Thus is the awesomeness of living in NYC. I've had Sex in the City park their trailor outside my dorm, Seen Cuba Gooding Jr filming a movie outside my dorm room, seen multiple movie celebs in Union Square... and, while I wasn't there, my roommate saw Britney Spears. He still claims she looked at him. And then I laugh.

No Olsen twin sightings though... its a big school.
