my top score is like 113 for 4x4 and like 130 something for 5x5. Just depends on how deep the board is.... if there's lots of -er(s) and -ed and -ing(s) you can really rack up the points.

snapps if you're ever on and see some variation of my real name or talisman then that's me. I'm pretty burned out right now though. Won my first 5x4 board though a few rounds ago.

I've been playing this off and on since I was like six so I've learned alot about the game. There's lots of tricks to maximizing your score. Don't miss hooks (ie -er -ed -s -ing -ion), try every possibility in each vein (you'll be surprised how many things you had no clue were words turn out to be words), don't miss words that are inside words (steel has teel in it, etc), don't miss backwards words (stop = pots), stuff like that. the number one thing I recommend is to keep typing as hard as you can even if you're just spewing out random shit. Maintaining a rhythm will help you.

The problem with the online version is that it doesn't score like regular Boggle. I'm used to taking time to find the long and obscure words because you only get points for the ones that the other people didn't get. Because of this, I have a habit of starting with letters and trying to make words out of the adjoining letters instead of looking for words themselves. Sure, I'll build on the suffixes if I find a good one, but it's really a different style of play.

Granted, I'm just not as good as the better players. The highest I can rank is in the high teens every once in a while.

well guido if they scored it like regular boggle no one would get any points... I mean it's rare that I ever find words that no one else does. At the bottom of the ranks it tells you what words you got that no one else got, what words you missed, and what words everyone missed.

I'm going to go play some four by four right now to practice my speed a little. Plus I want to see if I can get a perfect score ^_^

I got a word no-one else did when I had like 17 points.

I can't remember what it was, but I'm surprised that those two guys with like 100+ points didn't get it. O_o

I'm well aware of why they don't score it like real Boggle; I'm just stating that it causes me to play differently.

And I usually get a word (sometimes two) that nobody else gets just because of weird vocabulary or trying a word out that I don't know is a word but it turns out to be. The last game I played, everyone got quart, but I was the only one to get quarto or quartos.
