New Browser - AOL Explorer

Has anyone checked out the new browser that comes with the new version of AIM called AOL Explorer? I downloaded it and its pretty nice, even if its just the Beta version. It works a lot like Firefox and it lets me play FFR, unlike the browser that comes with AOL. Now i dont have to use crappy internet explorer to play FFR.

Hey, AOL Explorer isn't that bad. It is comparable to Internet Explorer overall, and it also has more window display space. Plus, it has a more slick look to it.

I guess Yoshi has never heard of removing buttons you don't use, using small buttons without text, or F11.

I haven't tried it, but I think that AOL explorer has tabbed browsing. If I had to choose between IE and this, I'd choose this just for that fact alone.

I need my tabbed browsing.

AOL explorer is based off of firefox

My sister dl'd AIM and this came with it. I'm using it right now. I actually like it a lot, it's shiny and sleek, and has the tabs at the top which I really like. I don't really know if it's better than IE or not, I'm not a nerd that knows about all that kinda stuff that makes browsers good, but lately IE has been giving me popups so I vote for this.

Yeah, I got the AIM Triton. I'm pretty loyal to IE, though, which makes it frustrating when I click a link in AOL and an effing AOL Explorer window opens up, even though I've unchecked the box next to the "Make AOL Explorer my default explorer" option.

By the way, if you ever have a problem with AIM, don't call AOL. I mean, they made it and all, but their techies a) don't speak English and b) could get fired if they tried to help fix one of the FREE services offered by AOL.

there is such thing as a compuer nerd, but you're talking about the people that know all the programing languages, can build a computer from a ball of yarn and some tinfoil, and can hack the fbi database.... wait scratch that last one, anyone can do that.

Where as a computer geek would probably just know c++
