It's pathetic that Jack Thompson backed out of donating $10,000 to charity after he made an obvious promise to do so if someone were to make a game based on his proposal. "Satire"? I don't think he knows that he should be prepared to live up to his word in a formal proposal. Besides, since he is a lawyer, he probably could have taken the $10,000 hit easily. He probably has millions of dollars in his bank account, out of various lawsuits he has claimed.

P.S. I think it would be rather funny if all of us got an e-mail from Jack Thompson regarding this little topic here.

Right now the amount of respect I have for Penny Arcade is matched only by the idolatry I felt for John Romero when I saw him in person at the CPL. My respect for them is so high, I would even drive as far out as Waco just to shake their hands.

Excellent job, guys. I'm amazed you guys did that, and I hope that if Jack Thompson takes any further steps to attack you, that you kick his butt (in an awesome but legal fashion) to the bitter end.
