From what I heard PS is a CPU whore, along with AIM.
Check how much memory you have, and how much stuff you run.
Task manager is your friend.

you want to check for spyware
that eats up memory
try restarting your computer too
A lot of stuff deletes itself after you restart

Virtual Memory is not RAM, Virtual Memory is a background service started by windows that uses Hard Drive space as RAM. You can allocate this in
Right Click My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Performance settings.
Otherwise, to fix it- clean up your hard drive- delete media, or applications you don't use.
