My P.O. doesn't think probation is a good idea for me cuz she thinks i will mess up...the only other alternative is juvy for 1.5-3 yrs. If i was to mess up my probation i automatically get three years but she is going to tell the judge on her judgement she thinks I'm going to mess up my probation...she's suggesting juvy time...has any one been in my situation i go back to court in 2 weeks and three days...has anyone been in a similar situation? I'm really trippping out on this one because i don't want to go back...the juvy I'm goin to isn't even in the same state as me...man what am i gonna do

My advice... don't be a f*ck up. Whatever it was you did, clearly you screwed up, and apparently your PO (Parole Officer, for those who aren't familiar with the term) thinks you're going to do it again.

Perhaps juvy would be good for ya. Better juvy than jail. *shrugs* Might REALLY make you think twice before doing illiegal acts again.

My PO suggested JDC for me as well... Instead they put me in Less Secure for about three weeks then put me on probation. That was two years ago. I was worried about it as well. Most likely you will not get sent to JDC... But who knows.

As of now I am required to go to court bi-weekly. If I don't show up, I get JDC.

i got really bad grades last year meaning i passed one class with a D and she thinks i have a drug problem...iv'e been sober for 2 weeks now and i really dont wanna go to JDC i dont know what to do iv'e never felt this sad and hopeless but i want the chance of probation because i know i can do it (stay clean and good for a year) i don't know why she thinks i'm gonna mess up because i talked with her for a total of about 6 minutes i really dont wanna go back wish me luck i go to court in two weeks from monday

im not sure if im gonna have a second chance o and for the one who asked how old i am i just turned 17 and what i did was stole a car and yes i know carjacking is wrong...i never wanna do n e thing wrong again but i just dont know if im gonna get the chance to prove myself

I think you now know that you need to change the way behave. As far as the another chance goes, you do have another chance to prove yourself, but you need to start right now.

That's one of the things I got in trouble for. Except what I did was probably A bit worse... I sold the cars parts to A scrapper. But since I was only 14, they just put me on probation.

That's one reason why I love VA... the authorities are weak.
