    Goin' Crazy Here :S

K... Mods... Plz keep this in the chat, so people can read this, but when the question of mine is figured out, then you can just lock it...

Anyways... I"M GOIN CRAZY HERE!!! I heard this song on the radio with my friend, and it's like a country/rock song, and it's really REALLY cool... But my friend can't think of the song I'm talking about...

I don't really remember the lyrics or anything... But it's like "I'm going hoooome hoooo oooooo oooooome" as the chrous or w/e... Something like that... And he sings and there is like loud clapping sounds in the b/g, almost like stomping.... GRRRR! I can't think of the song :S

But if any of you know what I'm talking about, tell me the artist and/or the name of the song, and I can get it through less than legal means of obtainment, and if I get it, then I'll tell all of you... And then a mod can lock this thread or w/e...

    Thanks in advance!

I don't listen to country/rock. Therefore I wish you luck finding it.

Weeeeeeell... Sera... If you find out... PLZ help... I've downloaded about 7 songs so far seeing if they were it, but to no availe... Nothing...

Like I said though... It's kind of a Bluesey/Country/Rock... Can't really explain it... But it's a cool song... And I want it.... But most importantly is that it's stuck in my head, and I don't even know what the song is...

OOH... A little side note... Got back from the arcade with my friend from playing DDR for over an hour and I guess this guy was watching me near the end when I was doing doubles and some 9footer heavy songs and he wouldnt stop congrating me and kept telling me about me having to join in the tourneys (That I hear about, but never go to)... But yeah... I was just happy about that little encounter with that guy...

BUT STILL... This song is drivin' me crazy... HELP!

Ugh... Zajac, I hear that song on the radio all the time on my local rock stations. Give me a few minutes to think about which song it is.

Is it Alice Cooper - Going Home?

I have a feeling that is the song you are talking about....

                      RE: Re: RE: Goin

The first thing that came to mind?

[at the beach is a sand castle version of Spongebob’s house. Spongebob’s hand comes from behind it with Spongebob’s face drawn on it]
Spongebob: Good morning, Bikini Bottom! Ah, what a beautiful day. [hums while walking along to a sand version of Patrick’s rock] I wonder is Patrick’s home. [Patrick’s hand comes in with a face drawn on it]
Patrick: Hiya, Spongebob. What are you doing? [they both walk along]
Spongebob: Going over to Sandy’s place. [they come across this, we pan out to see Sponge and Pat] Hey, what’s this? This doesn’t look like Sandy’s place. [pan out to see Sandy]
Sandy: Don’t lose your barnacle boys. [she karate chops the sand mound] There it is.
Spongebob: What is it? [we see it’s a mound shaped like Texas]
Sandy: Can’t you see? It’s Texas.
Spongebob: Texas? What’s a Texas? [the tide comes in and demolishes Sandy’s model]
Sandy: [sadly] Oh, it’s nothing but a memory now.
Spongebob: All right then, uh, let’s make one of your treedome.
Sandy: Y-you know, all over a sudden I don’t feel much like sandcastles, Spongebob. I’ll see y’all later. [walks away]
Spongebob: Hmm? Sandy? [Sandy walks away and Spongebob confronts her with karate moves]
Sandy: Aw, Spongebob. I’m not feeling up to karate right now.
Spongebob: [slyly] Oh, I get it. “Not feeling up to karate,” huh? Whatever you say, Sandy. [Sandy walks off, a muscular guy takes her place] Boy, I hope Sandy doesn’t attack me from behind. [he takes the muscular guy and flips him over his shoulder. Naturally, the guy isn’t too happy. Sandy walks as Spongebob is heard getting hurt. He flies into view with his face bashed in. It pops back out again] Uh, Sandy? [Sponge rides a surfboard next to her] Surf’s up, Sandy!
Sandy: No thanks. [he lags behind. Sandy walks into a field with jellyfish. Spongebob chases them]
Spongebob: Boy, there’s nothing like going jellyfishing. [Patrick laughs joyfully in the background chasing, then falls over and goes off-screen. But he continues running soon enough. Then, the two get Sandy’s attention with their new catch] Look Sandy, we caught one!
Sandy: Listen Spongebob, right now I don’t want to build sandcastles, play karate or eat jellyfish. [Spongebob laughs]
Spongebob: We don’t eat ‘em! We let ‘em go. [he lets the jellyfish go]
                      Patrick: Fly away, little critter!
Spongebob: Go on, go back home where you belong. Run along to your family and friends. I know they miss you as much as you miss them. Hurry! Before they forget you and leave you behind! Remember: [sing-song] There’s no place like home… [Sandy starts to cry. So much that her helmet gets full of water. Sandy gets out a lever thing and attaches it to her helmet. She pulls it and the water empties out] Sandy, what the heck are you crying about?
Sandy: [defensive] I ain’t cryin’! My helmet just sprung a leak!
                      Spongebob: Sandy…
Sandy: Oh, I guess I’m just feeling a little homesick…
Spongebob: Homesick, huh? Hmm… [cut to later where Sponge & Pat are leading a blind-folded Sandy somewhere] Almost there!
Sandy: Dag-gum it, Spongebob. What is it? [Sponge takes off the blindfold] Da, ta da! [they had just taken her to her treedome]
Sponge & Pat: Welcome home, Sandy! [Sandy starts to cry again and bolts inside] Sandy?
Sandy: Go away. [she pulls a lever which covers the whole house with a layer of steel]
Spongebob: I don’t get it Patrick. What’s wrong with Sandy? [the two walk off]
Patrick: Maybe it’s just a squirrel thing. [a tiny hole comes out from the top of the dome. Sandy comes out with a cowboy hat and a guitar. She tunes it and starts to sing]
Sandy: Wish I was back in Texas. [a jellyfish floats by] The ocean’s no place for a squirrel. [the background turns into a live-action rodeo picture, then to a ranch and then a horse pen] Wish I was in Texas, the prettiest place in the world, oh-no. [the background disappears] I guess that deep in my heart, I’ll always be a Texas girl. [her music notes fly through the sea] I wanna go hooooo-ooo-ooome. Home. [the clams hear and start howling like wolves. The notes catch the attention of Spongebob, when the notes fly through him]
Spongebob: Hey Patrick, listen to that! [the notes are swarming around Patrick]
Patrick: Get ‘em off me! Get ‘em off me!
Spongebob: Shhh! Listen, you hear that? …it’s Sandy! [points]
Sandy: [singing] I wanna wake up in Texas. [scene changes to a live squirrel standing on a fence] I miss those wide open skies. [as she says each item, it shows the squirrel around them] I miss my twenty acres, barbecues and pecan pies… oh why. Well I’m so far from you Texas, all I can do is cry. [the live action squirrel sheds a tear. Sponge and Pat start crying as Sandy yodels. At the Krusty Krab, Krabs is counting money. He hears Sandy’s song and starts to cry to and bang the counter. The rack opens out of the register and slams him back. The customers are crying too. One man uses his patty to wipe his tears, then gives it to his friend to blow his nose with. The man looks at the patty, wondering if he should eat it. Cut back to Sandy] I wanna go hoooo-oooo-ooome. [she goes back into the dome] [Junior Brown voice] I wanna go home. [Sponge and Pat are still crying, then stop]
Patrick: Do you think she knows the Muffin Man song?
Spongebob: Patrick, she sung that song from her heart. She really misses Texas.
Patrick: Well, let’s go get some Texas and bring it down here.
Spongebob: Patrick, you can’t… [thinks] That’s it! Patrick, your genius is showing. [tries to cover up]
Patrick: Where? [cut to Sponge, peeking into the Krusty Krab]
Spongebob: Everything looks perfect. We’re going to get Sandy now.
Krabs: [from inside] Well hurry it up, lads! Can’t squat like this forever! [Sponge & Pat leapfrog over to Sandy’s]
Sponge & Pat: [sing-song] Krusty Krab, Krusty Krab, Sandy’s surprise is at the Krusty Krab!
                      Patrick: Wait’ll she sees the-
Spongebob: Shhh! Don’t spoil the surprise. [before Sponge can knock, Sandy comes out with some bags]
                      Sponge & Pat: Hey Sandy!
Spongebob: You want to come with us to the Krusty Krab?
Sandy: [glum] Hey Spongebob. Hey Patrick.
Spongebob: What’re you doing with those bags?
Sandy: I’m going back home to Texas.
Spongebob: What?! Now?! You can’t… you see…
Sandy: It’s time for this tumbleweed to tumble on home. [walks off]
Spongebob: Wait Sandy! [stutters] Sandy, wait a second! You don’t want to leave without having one last Krabby Patty down at the Krusty Krab?
Sandy: I’m tired of fish food, Spongebob.
Spongebob: B-but Sandy! Don’t you want to say good-bye to all your friends down at the Krusty Krab?
Sandy: I just can’t do that, Spongebob. It’d be too sad. [Sandy boards the bus and it leaves. Spongebob tries to call her back, but the bus drives away]
                      Spongebob: I can’t believe she’s gone.
Patrick: Yeah, what’s so great about dumb ‘ol Texas. [the bus backs up quickly and Sandy steps out]
                      Sandy: What did you say?
Patrick: [scared] Texas is dumb? [the bus leaves without Sandy]
Sandy: Don’t you dare take the name of Texas in vain!
Spongebob: You mean we can’t say anything bad about dumb ‘ol Texas?
                      Sandy: No, you can’t!
Patrick: Well, can we say people from Texas are dumb?
Sandy: No, you can’t! No, you can’t say nothing about Texas! [Sponge catches on to something]
Spongebob: Oh, so we shouldn’t say anything bad about [mockingly] Texas!
                      Sandy: I’m warning you, Spongebob!
Spongebob: Hey Patrick, I’m Texas! [grabs his pants and moseys in a circle] Duh, howdy y’all! [repeats]
Patrick: I’m Texas too! [does the same moseying] Get a dog, little longey. Get a dog little longey… [Sandy’s really mad]
Sandy: Y’all best cut it out! [Spongebob sings horrible Western while Patrick does armpit noises]
Spongebob: The stars at night are dull and dim whenever they have to be over dumb old stupid Texas! [Sandy is really steaming, Spongebob has converted his body into the shape of Texas] Hey Patrick, what am I now?
                      Patrick: Um, stupid?
                      Spongebob: No, I’m Texas!
Patrick: What’s the difference? [the two laugh, Sandy drops her bags]
Sandy: Y’all best apologize, or I’ll be on you like ugly on an ape!
Spongebob: You’ll have to catch us first! [the two giggle and run off] We did it! We got her!
Patrick: Krusty Krab, here we come! [laughs] Can we say that plants from Texas are dumb? [laughs] Can we say that shoes from Texas are dumb?
                      Spongebob: OK Patrick, that’s enough.
Patrick: Why? Do you think that old slowpoke Texas is gonna… [Pat doesn’t notice that Sandy’s gaining and fast. They start running faster. The two run around a giant piece of coral, but Sandy just blasts right through it, now with a lasso. Pat is caught and there’s a giant atomic explosion in the background. Sponge screams and hides behind a kelp plant. But, Sandy just saws right through it, cutting Sponge in half. He rejoins himself and keeps running]
Sandy: Y’all take back what you said!
Spongebob: [panting] No! [sees the Krusty Krab] Almost there! [he sees that Sandy is making a Spongebob-shaped lasso. He jumps and holds onto one knob and his leg is lassoed. He keeps holding on with one finger and is excessively stretched out]
Sandy: Spongebob, you’ve been messing with the bull! Now here come the horns!
Spongebob: Sandy! No! [the whole front of the restaurant is ripped off, revealing a Texas party]
All: Howdy, y’all! [Sandy and Sponge emerge from the rubble]
                      Sandy: Wha-what’s this?
Spongebob: It’s a party! [Patrick bounces in, beaten and hog-tied]
                      Patrick: For you!
                      Sandy: For me?
Spongebob: It’s your own little slice of Texas! Check it out Sandy! [a fish dances with a cube] We’ve got square dancing. [Squidward holds a giant spiked ‘Q.’] Giant barbed-be-Q’s. [Pearl holds a pie with a can of peas in it] Homemade peas-in-a-can pie. [Sponge and Pat puts on giant water gallon bottles] And we got our very own ten-gallon hats. So what do you think? You gonna stay? [Sandy cries with laughter, Sponge looks glum] Don’t cry anymore Sandy, I’ll go get your bags. [Sandy empties out her helmet in the same fashion as before]
Sandy: I’m not crying, I’m laughing. I appreciate what y’all trying to do, Spongebob. But home isn’t about barbecues and pecan pies, home is where you’re surrounded by other critters that care about you. [the whole crowd crowds in the corners of the screen] Duh! What am I doing? I’ve been home all along and it took me till just now to realize it.
Spongebob: Does that mean you’ll stay?
                      Sandy: I’m staying! [everyone cheers]
Patrick: Yeah! Who needs dumb old Texas? [view of the palm tree sea level shot]
Sandy: What did you just say?
Patrick: Should I start running now?
                      END

You have any idea if it's old... new?
