In following up on my Soccer post earlier, I just had my first season game today. Usually this wouldn't deserve a post but we beat last years state champs 3-1 (Glenbrook South, i think) and my school isn't even ranked in the top ten. So it looks like we should have a good season, that is if we keep playing well.

Wow, you won't believe that I'm having good luck as well. Our team is now 2-1 with our start in a tournament. Our loss was attributed to a horrible call by the referee; a penalty that never happened... inside the goalie box. But, we still won the consolation championship (second place, basically... winners of the losers bracket). I always told myself, beginning with freshman year, that my junior year would be the best of my four years of soccer, and it is definitely shaping up to be that way.

I'm crap at every physical sport. Except floor hockey with hockey newbs at school. I smack the ball/puck/whatever right when they're about to shoot and it goes under their raised stick. People hate when I do that, but they never learn to keep their stick down.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Article in the Chicago Tribune this morning after yesterdays game. I was wrong in my other post, we played Downers Grove South, not Glenbrook South. Also, they were originally ranked 3rd and now they are ranked 10th. Unfortunatly, my team still isn't in the top 10
