    Old School Candy

I was just at my local Hess station with my mom getting some food for dinner tonight(bread lol) and I saw a candy I haven't seen in ages! It was those liquid filled bottles made of wax. Those used to be my favorite old school candy that I remember having. I haven't had one in over 6 years, so I got a pack, and omg do I miss that taste .

So to the point. What are your favorite old school candies, you know, the ones you can get at gas stations and such.

I just finished directing a production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and as a gift, the actors pitched in to find some Big League Chew gum (Because one of the songs in the show is "Baseball"). It was quite nice. I'll ask them where they got it.

Big League Chew and Warheads can still be found in Massachusetts no problem. I'm not much of a candy freak, but Moxie soda is the best.

                  RE: Old School Candy

Warheads, Original Airheads, and Big League Chew, are all VERY common in VA. I remember "Fruit Stripe" gum, I actually found the first pack I've seen in ages about 2 weeks ago. My other fave stuff was Bottle Caps, and the Wafer candies that came in rolls. I still see Werthers Originals, but they don't come in the rolls anymore , just bags.

I love Big League Chew. I haven't had it in 2 or 3 years, though. Maybe I'll try and Google 'Fort Worth Candy Shops' or something.

Old School? I doubt this counts (hell, I dont even remember the name) but they were shaped like soda bottles and flavored after various types of soda, but they arent the liquid filled bottles made of wax kind. I havent had them since I was 6, so that means I haven't seen them since in 12 years.

Also, this isnt really Old Schoo, but I miss Lucus. That stuff was grand. They stopped selling it in where I live because of lead poisoning or something like that. I can still find it in some of the mexican communities. Mexican candy is the best...so is mexican soda.
